Instagram Edits on Mac lets AI agents, including Muse, build rough cuts
Instagram launched Edits for Mac on November 5, a free desktop video editor for Apple silicon with a multi-track timeline and watermark-free 4K export. The key addition is an MCP interface exposing all of the app's tools, so an AI agent of the user's choice, including Meta's Muse, can assemble a rough cut that the creator then finishes by hand. There is no Windows version yet and projects do not sync between phone and desktop.
