AI camera alert system from an old webcam and 2016 GPU pitched as side income
A hobbyist built a custom AI camera alert system on a 2016 GPU and an old webcam using free open-source models — it sends Telegram photo alerts only for specific defined problems, like a cat on a parked scooter, instead of generic motion alerts. The builder positions it as a potential low-maintenance income stream, but no revenue exists yet; it's still a test build. Interesting pattern, zero proof of income so far.
