1Password launches agent platform with Muse as launch partner
1Password launched its agent platform on October 22, letting AI agents including Meta's Muse complete sign-ins without ever receiving passwords, MFA codes or vault contents. Agents prove identity with a digital key, the user approves each session on their own device, and 1Password injects credentials directly into the site. Nat Friedman of Meta Superintelligence Labs is quoted as a launch partner, making this the first major third-party trust layer for Muse's agentic commerce push.
