Meta VP of engineering Prashant Ratanchandani said at Vercel Ship 2026 that the Superintelligence Labs team wiped the AI codebase and rebuilt it in 95 days, grew the Meta AI team from 4 to 97 engineers in three months, and has shipped 11 AI models and products since April.
