Meta opens the Muse Gadgets SDK and gives away 5,000 Home Link hubs
Meta released open-source firmware and a Linux SDK in early October 2026 that let developers wire Muse into a Raspberry Pi, an ESP32 board, or custom hardware under an Apache 2.0 license. The company also built Muse Home Link, a USB-C hub connecting Muse to home Wi-Fi for lights, TVs, and printers, and is giving 5,000 units free to US subscribers while supplies last.
