Meta pauses Muse chat sharing after 6,800+ share links found exposed via public DNS
Security firm Claroc discovered over 6,800 Muse share links discoverable through public DNS records, exposing conversations containing revenue figures, loan applications, and employee calendars. Meta confirmed the finding to The Verge and paused the sharing feature while it reviews the URL design. A separate macOS flaw reported by Patrick Wardle could let another app take over a Muse account.
