Am I the only one deliberately avoiding Skills and preferring saved prompts instead?
One builder swims against the Skills trend: only five or six real skills installed, everything else handled with saved prompts, custom instructions, and reusable templates. The argument is that explicit prompts remove the guesswork of the model discovering the right skill, and a capability only earns skill status when it needs files, tools, or state.
