Reality check: only about 0.14% of 13,831 registered agents had a working service
A review of a public agent registry found 13,831 agents signed up within days but only about 0.14% had a distinct, working service, and one listed agent earned just $554.56 across its whole life despite 43,093 recorded jobs. The earners that check out are human-run services sold to real buyers, such as an agency helping brands appear in AI answers with $170,500 a month from 56 subscribers.
