Meta pauses Muse chat sharing after 6,800 shared chat links were exposed
Meta paused conversation sharing on Muse after security researchers at Claroc found 6,800 shared chat links through passive DNS searches, exposing items such as a small-business loan application, a bank fraud alert with partial account details, and internal company documents. The flaw was structural: every share link used the same domain with the conversation's own title in the subdomain, so one search listed thousands of chats like a table of contents. Meta says it paused the feature while reviewing the report.
