WhatsApp may soon replace Meta AI with Muse
WhatsApp may soon replace Meta AI with Muse, according to reports from 22 October 2026. Meta AI chats would become read-only while users get an in-app prompt that they are eligible for Muse, with the option to import memory from another AI assistant so it knows them from day one. The move would turn WhatsApp into a primary distribution channel for the Muse agent.
