WIRED: Muse has not upended any business yet, despite 10 million activations and big shopping baskets
WIRED surveyed executives at about fifty companies after Meta's earnings call and found the feared agent-shopping disruption has not arrived: DoorDash counts agent orders in the hundreds, T-Mobile sees nothing significant, and one fitness chain reports zero agent-driven cancellations. Meta's side of the story is real user growth, with over ten million people in the US and Canada activating Muse and more than a quarter using it for shopping, averaging purchases above 200 dollars. Agents still stumble at the last step, on loyalty discounts and after-hours ordering.
